2010 ANNUAL CHBA-CA GOLF TOURNAMENT

MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

On behalf of the CHBA-CA Board of Directors, I would like to thank everyone for attending and generously donating to our annual golf tournament held on June 11, 2010. With 5 straight days of rain leading up to the event, we were thankful for the break in the weather. It turned out to be a beautiful sunny day and a good time was had by all. With your support we were able to raise funds for our scholarship programs at Red Deer College and Olds College.

Also, a special thanks to our golf tournament committee who spent countless hours organizing the event.

Our committee is currently working on the 2011 golf tournament. If you have any suggestions or comments that would help us organize the event please contact our CHBA-CA office at (403) 346-5321.

I look forward to seeing you at next year’s tournament.

2010 Central Alberta Awards of Excellence in Housing

On Saturday, April 17, 2010 the Canadian Home Builders Association handed out its annual Awards of Excellence in Housing at the Capri Centre in Red Deer. These local housing awards recognize excellence in the residential construction industry within Central Alberta. Every year, the industry honors the best individuals and organizations in outstanding products, elite workmanship, exceptional neighborhoods’, and most importantly superior home building.

The 2010 Awards of Excellence were open to all CHBA-Central Alberta Builder Members to celebrate the region's wealth of talent in the housing industry. The sold out event was a special night for everyone in attendance. Congratulations to all winners in their category.
